# Unweighted parity revision verification

The original degree-77 reciprocal-block proof and exact rational checks are unchanged. The revision adds direct 2024 prior art, corrects the historical framing and explicitly rules out a distinct-root novelty loophole. It does not alter the original nonnegative cutoff or the proof's strict sign margins.

The originating researcher checked the 2024 paper's complete Section 5 and the exact distinct-root perturbation certificate. The accompanying prior-art checker reconstructs the published primitive family and its rational splitting using integer arithmetic, without numerical root finding. Degree 15 gives 13 distinct negative roots versus 11 unweighted parity changes; this is an elementary finite realization of the prior family, not a claim that the exact splitting was printed in the 2024 article.

Both corrected LaTeX documents compile in the built-in editor. The exported PDF is separately checked for layout and references.
